His new trick, which I saw for the first time at the weekend, is to
use the sofa to pull himself upright, stand there for a few seconds
(between 5 and 10, so far), then topple over backwards and bang his
head on the floor. What a clever little laddie.
I thought he was a bit young for pulling himself up on his own, but
everyone I've spoken to who has kids reckons 6-7 months is about right,
so if anything, he's a week or two behind. Well, he is the only one
at nursery who can't stand and toddle, so I guess it's time.
He's also got a second tooth through now. Both of his bottom front
ones are out and gnawing. He can give a good hard bite when he wants
to now. Which is good for him eating fruit (he can get half a peach
down in under a minute now - although he did still seem to be chewing
on part of it half an hour later last night), but it's not so good for
me!
Oh boy he loves the camera this one... Trip to Willows Farm Village, We went, had lots of fun and came home.
So he walks now (well with some help), but you should see him go. He occassionaly gets a bit ahead of himself and jumps or does the splits, but he's getting the hang of it. Last night we had to lower the mattress level of his cot so he doesn't get out of it.
In other news, benjamin has his own domain now so I'm sure at some point this blog will move there, for now its pretty empty http://ben.me.uk
Oh and he seems to have a runner bean issue, he keeps picking them and playing with them; Pics on the way.
