Bit of a review of what is and isn't working so far, and what we have done this weekend.
From earlier list:
* garlic - 8 cloves in individual pots, greenhouse - all sprouting well
* onions - 10 'volunteer' sprouts, individual pots, greenhouse - all well
* tomato - harbinger - 6 x 2-per module, house - these got knocked on the floor and swept back in, but at least 2 of the modules have sprouted
* tomato - sweet'n'neat yellow - individual pots (for Daniel), house - one has just popped through
* tomato - GD - 6 x 5-per-module, house - all up, plus some extras!
* melon - eldorado f1 - 6 x 4-per-module, house - nothing.
* pepper - california wonder - 6 x 4-per-module, house - couple of these are now coming up
* pepper - marconi rosso - 6 x 4-per-module, house - nothing
* aubergine - black beauty - 6 x 2-per-module, house - nothing
* sprouts - evesham special - 2 trays, greenhouse - all coming up!
* leek - lyon 2 'prizetaker' - 2 trays, greenhouse - nothing
Bought 5 new roses to go on the allotment. And we managed to get 4 of the 6+some (unsure how many he got off ebay) asparagus into the old, slightly dead asparagus bed.
I've started weeding under the currant+gooseberry bushes, which is a mess. Hope I didn't disturb them too much.
Nick has moved all of the yellow raspberries from the middle of half-plot to the edge, so they work as a windbreak. Plus the ribena bush and the aronia bush.
Meant to spend the evening planting seeds, but haven't had time. Really really need to get some more modules started!
